What if
we created a work app that connects people physically and virtually?
What if a product sprint could set the requirements clearly for all relevant users and makes us develop a total new perspective on how to conjoin colleagues with clients and company?

House of everyone.
Serviceplan not only wants to be an agency but also calls itself and its locations 'House of Communication'. We can also see ourselves as houses of coming together, of different cultures and sexual orientations. And we should build a digital home for this, a kind of twin of the real world. Originating from the early days of Corona, our aim was to connect people across different locations and time zones and also provide them with orientation for the new office in Munich. In addition, diversity and belonging was a key guideline and inspiration for the development.
And so we wanted to turn the House of Communication into a House of Everyone. We wanted to bring people together, connect them and let them express how they feel on a daily basis. We didn't want to create a classic business app, but a pool of and for like-minded people. The Pool App.
Things to solve.

A letter of warm words.

"To develop an internal collaboration app, I participated in the PN Pulse design sprint. It was impressive to see how ideas emerged and evolved, how small comments turned into important features, and how the initial rough requirement grew into a framework that deeply impressed both the management board and me. The sprint was essential to the project's success, connecting all disciplines, ideas, and requirements. The approach was so playfully successful that in the end, one plus one equaled more than two."
From excel to exceptional.

For the opening of their new office in Munich, Serviceplan wanted a remote control system that included all digital services. We received probably the most reduced briefing ever and in the same breath the maximum possibilities. An Excel briefing with all services listed. That was the starting signal for us to think of something new. Something that people use. What they need. What unites them.

A visual access to connect & interact with people and office.
We have multiple layers of needs to tackle within this app, and multiple layers when it comes to represent a building with many floors and several houses. An abstracted yet visually driven digital twin of the houses was born with the opportunity to represent the life inside and navigate in the room. Different access layers make it simple to explore floors in AR and get into actions with people for meetup events or learning sessions in the office or in virtual Clubs and more. So, get connected.
